Jack's Frist Trip on a Plane

7 Months old and on his first airplane. Traveling to Wisc to visit the Carlin side of the family.

Andrew and I celebrated our 4th anniversary last week. We had a delightful night out in Old Town while Jack sleep under the watchful eye of Gram. 

 

An oldie but a goodie, the ring tower is a big hit. 

 

You've got to be quick these days when taking his photo...He wants to grab everything from you....and eat it of course! 

It took some determination, but we finally got evidence of those teeth! 

Too cute...a side sleeper...just like mom and dad. :) 

After months of only sleeping on his back...we walk into Jack's bedroom one morning to find this... 

The Tale of the Tape

In the light blue corner we have Jack "The Peanut" Carlin. Weighing in at 17lbs 12ozs with a height of 28". Still the undisputed baby-weight champion of his crib. (Sorry the picture of him standing diaper-clad on the scale flexing his arms didn't come out . . . maybe next bout).

We made it through 1/2 a year....

Happy 6 month birthday Jack! Over the weekend Andrew discovered his first 2 teeth (bottom front). It was so wild to see them and feel them.

Father's Day

Jack and Grant had a wonderful time playing together on Father's Day.

Swim Class

Jack started his Baby Swim class Saturday. From what we can tell he really liked it, he'll be an olympic swimmer in no time!

Jack's Baptism

Jack with his parents and Godparents, Steve and Emily. It was a beautiful day and we were surrounded by many family and friends. Thanks to all for coming.

I had Carrots for lunch. It was my first food, after the Rice Cereal.

The visit to Luray

We went out to Luray, to the beautiful home and vineyard that Jack and Tina built. It was bittersweet to be out there, especially with Baby Jack.

We put Jack and Grant together on the couch and took no less than 100 photos! All was going very well, until Jack let out a yelp that scared the poop out of poor Grant. Quite a verbal child, not unlike his mother. ;)

We think this is pretty exciting, but it's most likely an accident, that or . . . our child is a super genius. Jack is feeding himself independent of anyone else, cool huh? Well anyway Mom and Dad thought it was awesome and we spent the better part of an hour trying to capture it on film (or pixels anyway).

Spring! Well Almost...

We had some wonderful warm days here during the past few weeks. So Jack got to sport some of his short sleeve clothes. Too bad it got cold again, but we know Spring is just around the corner.
