We walked around inside the Gaylord Hotel Resort and saw all different kinds of sand sculptures that were on display.

Easter

Looking forward to Easter, I told Jack that the Easter Bunny would be coming to leave a basket for him. I asked him what he would like in his Easter Basket, this was his list:
Purple chainsaw
Treats
Christmas Trees with lights
Chocolate
Screw driver
Blue glue
Paints
Glitter
Paper
Nails and screws

Our Sunshine....

Last weekend we took a walk by the Potomac River, it was absolutely beautiful outside. Jack wasn’t too keen on getting his picture taken, but we got this one. We’re all so happy that spring is here.

Jack's Sugery

Jack had surgery last Friday to repair an inguinal hernia. We’re happy to say everything went really smoothly! Jack's home and recovering
nicely. Photo here is Jack in recovery; he was happy watching the
Disney Channel and eating a popsicle. The folks at Fairfax Hospital
did a great job of keeping him happy and comfortable.

Thanks for all of you kind wishes, visits and prayers!

They just love being around each other! How cute!!

Jack and Bella figured out how to get M&Ms from the grown ups in the other room and then stash them back here in their special hiding place. They are out smarting us already!

Off the Ball....

Andrew and I went to one of the Inaugural Balls last week. Andrew got the tickets through work. It was the Florida State ball held in the American Indian Museum on the mall. We didn’t see Obama, but did spot several Florida representatives and the Senator from Florida Bill Nelson. We had a blast and were happy to be part of the celebration.

Making Cookies

Jack likes to help me cook and bake. Here we are making cookies. Many of you know of his love for all kinds of vacuums, so it should be no surprise to learn that Jack had to quickly grab the dust buster (seen here on the counter) once a little flour spilled on the counter. Most people would just use a sponge, but not our Jack.
Needless to say the whole process takes a tad longer when you have to vacuum up every spill!

Grandma and Grandpa gave Jack a Doctor Kit for Christmas. Jack took to the syringe and starting giving everyone and everything a shot. Here, even his new fire truck needs a shot.
