The Tale of the Tape

Homegirl is 22.25" long and she weighs 7lbs 6oz. The Docs said they wanted her up to birth weight by the 2 week check in but she's an over achiever and has put on 5 extra ounces. Good job Mommy and Baby!

Wright Brother's Museum

We visited the Wright Brother's Museum while in NC. Here's Jack with Daddy and Grandpa.

Beach Vacation

Just got back from our family beach vacation in NC where we meet up with our extended family. We had a great time! Here are Jack and Grant enjoying the sun and surf.

Making CupCakes

Jack and I made cupcakes for Fourth of July, mix compliments of Pam in CA. Jack loves to help cook, but when we use the hand mixer he has to put on his protective ear gear, he says it's too loud without them. He calls these earphones 'telephone ears', close enough. ;)

Painting the Nursery

Jack helped Uncle Matt paint the dresser and nursery for the new baby. We went with cream on top and pink on bottom. Hopefully we won't have to repaint the room this time! ;)

Fishin' with Grandpa

Jack liked playing with the worms more than actually fishing, but still managed to catch one, with Grandpa's help! ;)

Easter Eggs

Jack loved dyeing Easter Eggs.

Happy Easter 2010!

Educational Fun

Look how rad Daddy is mixing fun and learning together. I was impressed with myself by playing with Jack using pencils. I would make a shape, ask Jack to name the shape and then ask him to create a similar shape . . . "Square, Triangle, now look put them together and they make a house." Later Jack's house needed a smoke stack ;-)
