While suffering from colds Ava is subject to everyone wiping her nose, in the past few months she has started to wipe our noses regardless if its needed.  Here I watched her take care of one of her 'friends' It must be allergies, poor guy.

Thanksgiving Brunch

I attended the Thanksgiving lunch at Jack's school yesterday, all the kids came in wearing their hand made hats, it was pretty adorable.  His class eats at 10:15 AM if you can believe it, so it was more like Turkey Brunch for us.

Jack had his first game of the season this weekend.   Grant and Jack are playing with the same team from last season.  

Walt Disney World

In late August we took Jack to Walt Disney World. Uncle Jason, Aunt Ann Maire and Grant came too.  It was amazing.  As Jack told me at one point, "Mommy, this place really is magical"  We saw all of the parks.  One of Jack's favorite times was the fireworks, he loved when Tinkerbell came down from the castle.   He told me "I love her like I love Christmas!"  She really made an impression.   Jack was also quite taken with the princesses.   Here is is posing with Cinderella, Belle and Sleeping Beauty.   After speaking with them for a long time, they told him they wanted him to stay there at WDW with them.  He replied "Well, I do have my hotel.  But I can't drive yet"   When asked if he had slayed any dragons he simply said "Dragons don't exist"  

Right before this photo was taken the princesses asked "Jack, how should we stand for your picture?"  He  said "well, still of course"

Time Flies!

Forgive us for not posting in a long time, as many of you must experience, time has just been getting away from us lately. Ava is now 11 months, we can't believe her time as an infant is almost done. She has 8 teeth now! Four on top and four on the bottom. She is pulling up every chance she gets and can't wait to start walking so that she can keep up with big brother Jack. She is babbling all the time and starting to communicate by pointing out things that interest her.

Jack is 5 and starting Kindergarten in Sept, we just can't believe how big he's grown. And just today he discovered that one of his bottom front teeth has become loose! Looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting us this year for sure.

Ava - 7 Months Old

Ava is sitting up on her own now and almost crawling. She can get herself across the room with her own modified crawling style. She spends a lot of time in the downward facing dog yoga position! Sometimes we think she is going to do a somersault!

She is babbling all the time and it completely thrilled and entertained anytime big brother Jack is around. Her two bottom teeth are in and the tooth top front teeth are on their way.
