Jack and Daddy in the Blizzard

Lucky for us Jack loved going outside in the snow, which was good since there wasn't much else to do! Jack and Andrew did a great job shoveling the snow. Jack loved to pretend he was a snow plow. Much to his disappointment, we will not be buying a real snowplow, although Jack continues to try to persuade us.

The blizzard of 2010 left us snowed in!

Jack's First Ski Trip

Jack went skiing up at Wisp in Deep Creek, MD last weekend. Yes we did actually drive up to the mountains for the big storm. A little crazy we know, but the skiing conditions were great. Here's Jack on his skis during his lesson.

Chainsaw Christmas

Christmas Morning 2009

After opening presents at home we moved on to Nina’s house for brunch. Jack received a chainsaw for Christmas from Uncle Matt and then used it to ‘help’ all of us open the rest of our gifts.  Here he is with Nina.

Christmas Eve 2009

The festivities started with Christmas Eve dinner at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, which includes a great dinner of 3 fishes and lots of presents.   Jack got an array of power tools and a new fire truck with fire station.

SNOW!!!!!

Jack and Daddy outside during one of the biggest snowstorms we've ever had!  We bundled up Jack thinking he'd be out there for 20 minutes, but over 2 hours later we had to drag him back inside.  He LOVED it, so much so he cried when it melted. :(  Luckily just today we got more snow, just an inch, but it was enough to bring a smile back to his face.

Andrew built a snow fort, here you see the window we poked out.  You can't tell but it's Jack inside.

Jack loved pretending he was a snow plow, pushing all of the snow out of the way.

Grant came over to play in the snow!
