Shuttle Discovery Transported to Washington DC

Easter 2012

Easter was wonderful, fun had by all!  Ava just loved trying to keep up with Jack and Grant during the egg hunt.

We saw our dear friends from NY last week.  Ava didn't take long to get really attached to Frankie.

Ava and Tara

Ava LOVES her cousin Tara!   She gets excited every time she's around and can't wait to help take care of her.  One of her favorite activities is to give Tara her binky.  

While suffering from colds Ava is subject to everyone wiping her nose, in the past few months she has started to wipe our noses regardless if its needed.  Here I watched her take care of one of her 'friends' It must be allergies, poor guy.

Thanksgiving Brunch

I attended the Thanksgiving lunch at Jack's school yesterday, all the kids came in wearing their hand made hats, it was pretty adorable.  His class eats at 10:15 AM if you can believe it, so it was more like Turkey Brunch for us.

Soccer!

Jack had his first game of the season this weekend.   Grant and Jack are playing with the same team from last season.  

Walt Disney World

In late August we took Jack to Walt Disney World. Uncle Jason, Aunt Ann Maire and Grant came too.  It was amazing.  As Jack told me at one point, "Mommy, this place really is magical"  We saw all of the parks.  One of Jack's favorite times was the fireworks, he loved when Tinkerbell came down from the castle.   He told me "I love her like I love Christmas!"  She really made an impression.   Jack was also quite taken with the princesses.   Here is is posing with Cinderella, Belle and Sleeping Beauty.   After speaking with them for a long time, they told him they wanted him to stay there at WDW with them.  He replied "Well, I do have my hotel.  But I can't drive yet"   When asked if he had slayed any dragons he simply said "Dragons don't exist"  

Right before this photo was taken the princesses asked "Jack, how should we stand for your picture?"  He  said "well, still of course"
